Have you heard of Australia’s famous Twelve Apostles?
The Twelve Apostles are located on Victoria’s coastline of the Southern Ocean. The Apostles are rock stacks which were created by constant erosion of the mainland’s limestone cliffs 20 million years ago. With constant erosion there is only eight left! Their heights are comparable to 50 story buildings.
It was a beautiful pit-stop on road-trip down the Great Ocean Road.

When I saw your comment that read “What’s big along the Southern Ocean in Australia?” thought for sure you’d be posting a photo of a big shark. This is much nicer. Breathtaking!
A photograph of a big shark up close would have been an amazing shot! This experience definitely involved less adrenaline. Thanks for stopping by!
Ah! I’m going there next week! Can’t wait
Looks awesome.
The view is fantastic during sunrise or sunset to try and head out there then!

Thank you! It is quite calming there (without all the tourists, visitors and strong winds).
